Injury: 2 players suffered injuries in weekend games. Alan Datema from the Attercliffe Attack, C division, suffered a broken ankle. Brandon Kampen from the Toronto Titans, B North division, suffered multiple fractures in his leg. We pray and hope that both of these players heal well and quickly. Even though there were no penalties assessed when both of these injuries occurred they did involve impact from an opponent. We ask and urge all teams and players to play the game with respect for your opponent and to God's honour. Please carefully consider this in your upcoming games. Tim

Joel Huizing, Toronto Titans, received a serious cut on his arm in a game last week. He was taken to the ER and received 6 stiches to close up the cut. We are thankful no artery or muscle was damaged and Joel is doing well.

Injury Update: We are happy that Ben returned home from the hospital today. He does have a fractured vertebrae in his low back and will have to wear a back brace for up to 6 months. We are thankful that his injury is not worse and that a full recovery is expected. Let this incident be a very sharp reminder that we are to play this game for fun and to God's glory. Injuries will happen but they can also be prevented. Every time we step on the ice we have to be aware of this. This goes for every guy on every team. Play safe while uplifting one another!!

Nov 22/11 - Website Update: The new website has already proved to be a valuable asset for the League Board. We will continue to work on the site through the year to focus on making it more interactive for you, the players & fans. Anticipated New Features include: loading all team and player historical stats, individual player cards, team stat pages and League and Tournament information. Further the League is currently developing new core values, and mission statement for the organization. This will spearhead our framework for a new logo and therefore new graphics for the site. Please stay posted for more updates regarding this. Anyway thanks to everyone who visits this site - we hope you enjoy it. Tim
